Bible Reading:  Obadiah 1:17

Memory Verse: Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God [set aside self-righteous pride], so that He may exalt you [to a place of honor in His service] at the appropriate time. 1 Peter 5:6 (AMP)

Other keys To Restoration in Year 2022 and beyond include:

5. Humility: Naaman’s example is a model for those who want a complete and perfect restoration. The first thing to note about his restoration in 2 Kings 5:14 is that “he went down” before he was restored. We must get off our high horse of self-importance if we truly desire complete restoration in any department of our lives. Samson’s restoration wasn’t complete. He died as a blind man alongside his enemies.

6. Parental Blessings: Sometimes our parents hurt us badly yet, you as a child of God must honour them. This is the mystery of spiritual authority. Some children are not in talking terms with their parents, others don’t send anything to their parents in cash or in kind. You will only delay your full-scale restoration, if at all, by such act. You can’t be wiser than the Bible which says, “Honour your Father and Mother…” (Ephesians 6: 1-3).

7. Kingdom Service: Why should God bless you when you are not useful to His Kingdom on earth? Have you wondered why God did not take you straight to heaven when you became born again? Answer: So that you will depopulate hell for Him on earth. Do something to promote God’s kingdom on earth and see how God will hastily work out your restoration (John 9:4, Daniel 12:3).

8. Deliverance and Holiness: Consider Obadiah 1:17 which says, “But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions”. Possessing your possessions, otherwise called restoration cannot be achieved without deliverance and holiness. You must cut off from all foundational limitations such as family curses, evil family covenants, etc., that wouldn’t allow you lift up your head even as you serve God in holiness. To be holy is to pure and clean in everything (inward, outward) you do. No shady deals, no forged documents, no examination malpractice of any kind, no lying, no provocative dressing, no unclean thought, etc.

QuoteYour restoration to your divine original in destiny is at the mercy of definite kingdom principles.

Prophetic Decree: I reverse every evil family curses saying no to your lifting, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. The God of complete restoration, how great thou art.

2. I receive a heart of humility that I may lay hold on all that I have lost, in Jesus name.

3. I receive a heart of service for my complete restoration, in Jesus name.

4. I receive grace to honour my parents in season and out of season, in Jesus name.

5. Family curses and evil covenants pressing down my head, be lifted by the atoning blood of Jesus, in Jesus name.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Hebrews 7-10
