Memory Verse: I will set my face against the person who turns to mediums and spiritists to prostitute himself by following them, and I will cut him off from his people. Leviticus20:6 (NIV)

Today, let’s consider three more things to avoid in order to remain delivered: 11. Wickedness: When you do evil to someone that is incapable of defending himself, you have performed a wicked act. Acts such as abortion, blood ritual, human cannibalism, armed robbery, genocide, fraud, sex slave, murder, stealing, etc, are not only wicked but are gateways to the entry of evil spirits.

12. Soul games: The Bible says in the making of many books, there is no end (Eccl. 12:12). Be careful of what you read. Books on divination, books on witchcraft, the sixth and seventh books of Moses, etc, are all portals for the spirit of divination and witchcraft. Do you know? There are now occultic books with workbook. Many have been possessed with demons when they read occultic books on the internet and followed the instructions. Don’t seek knowledge from Satan. Ouija board is a game of divination. Bible turning to know who committed an offence is another practice of divination. Unfortunately, some so-called Pastors still use this. The other time, a satanic personality gave a brother who was curious of strange knowledge what she calls, “The stone of Solomon”. When he puts this stone in his pocket, as he touches it, he manipulates people to favour him. One day, the stone disappeared and the demon behind the stone began to appear to him in person until his life became miserable and he ended up a deliverance candidate.

13. Consultation of mediums: Like King Saul who visited the witch of Endor, you cannot visit an herbalist, witch doctor, sorcerer, etc, and go home undemonized. King Saul ended in a tragic way (1 Samuel 31:1-6).

In addition, dear brethren, be careful of sand, stones, water, portrait, etc, brought from foreign countries (even from the ‘holy lands’) because they could also become portals to welcoming evil spirits into your life.

Prayer Focus

1. Father of all spirits, I thank You.

2. I repent of anything I have done to open the gates for evil spirits, in Jesus name.

3. Blood of Jesus, purge me within and withal today, in Jesus name.

4. Anything within me, or in my house giving evil spirits legal hold over my life, catch fire, in Jesus name.

5. Blood of Jesus laminate my life against all evil portals into my life, in Jesus name.
