Memory Verse:“If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land”Isaiah 1:19 (ESV).
Obedience requires faith, patience and courage.
There are Destiny instructions to be obeyed compulsorily if your life must make an impact. It takes courage to follow God. You will need a lion heart to eat a lion share in life. Following God comes with its own attendant risk. Obedience to God comes with a price to pay. One of the prices is loneliness.
Noah built the Ark for 120years. Put yourself in Noah’s shoes for a moment. People laughed him to scorn and told him he was insane. In obedience to the God he cannot see, he didn’t stop building the ark for 120 years (not 120 days)!
Abraham also obeyed God when told to leave his father’s house for a land He will show him (Gen.12:1). Obviously, these fathers of faith left certainty for uncertainty.
You have prayed, fasted, sowed sacrificial seeds but have you obeyed the last specific instruction given to you by God in meditating, in a dream, through His Prophet, or in a trance or vision; know that everything God does in the life of a man is traced only to his act of dogged obedience. Stop looking for Bible promises to confess, look for Bible instructions to obey. Promises follows obedience, just as signs and wonder follows those that believe (Mark 16:17).
People who have the calling of God upon their lives but do not want to launch out in obedience and faith, many a times end up a ridicule. That will not be your portion in Jesus name.
Motivational quote: Your next call of obedience is your last bus stop of disobedience.
Prophetic Word: May you not be a bad example of disobedience to God in your generation.
Prayer points
1. I receive the courage to obey God in everything I do in Jesus name.
2. Holy Spirit, help me to obey God at all times and in all places, in Jesus name.
