Bible reading: Isa. 60: 1-5.

Memory Verse: “Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you “Isaiah 60:1 (NKJV).

Nothing happens until a man desirous of change takes a daring step. The man in our devotional of yesterday was tired of paying exorbitant water bills, hence, he paid the price for a needed positive change. I wish you too can be desperate for a new reality in Christ Jesus. Will you continue with your casual time with your Creator this year? The God you don’t spend time with, you cannot truly know nor represent. Know Him deeper.

I’m praying to see a collection of youngsters who are ready to pay the price on the altar of prayers for a National transformation. I want to see students who will go into villages and destroy ancestral altars that have held her inhabitants in captivity. Students working in apostolic signs and wonders; too hot for the devil to handle.

Our world need well-equipped people who can profer solutions to the numerous financial and economic problems that has befallen us. People who will “go deeper’ in research to find a cure to medical problems that has long defiled solutions. There are computer software and applications that are yet to be written that will show case the wonder working power of God in the human brain.

These feats won’t be possible until you arise to take responsibility. Someone must be happy that you are born. Your generation must write a laudable biography about you. What legacy do you want to leave behind after your pilgrimage on earth? What do you want to be said about you?

Where are the scientific researches that will stun a panel of Professors to their utmost amazement? You are bigger than this. Don’t settle for mediocrity. Refuse the average life. Go deeper. Evaluate the cost of success in your area of influence and be ready to pay the price. With God, nothing shall be impossible.
