Bible reading: Amos 3:3, Joshua 1:8
Memory Verse:
“When I discovered your words, I devoured them. They are my joy and my heart’s delight, for I bear your name, O Lord God of Heaven’s Armies.” Jeremiah 15:16
Communication is one of the most vital pieces to a healthy relationship. The more communication there is between people in a relationship, the stronger the relationship gets. We must invest time, resources and effort into a relationship to grow and develop it.
It’s no difference in our relationship with God. If we want to grow more in our trust, affection and submission towards God, we must grow in the area of communication. God speaks to us in many ways, but the primary way He does is through His written Word – the Bible.
The Bible is complete, effective and crucial to following Jesus; and the more we grow in love with His Word, the more we grow in Christ.
Go for the Word. Everything you need for a fulfilling life is wrapped up in the Word of God.
“The book to read is not the one which thinks for you, but the one which makes you think. No book in the world equals the Bible for that”. – McCosh
“What makes the difference is not how many times you have been through the Bible, but how many times and how thoroughly the Bible has been through you.”- Smith
“I read my Bible to know what people ought to do, and my newspaper to know what they are doing” – Newman
Quote: Be walking Bibles -Spurgeon
