Bible Reading: 2 Corinthians 4: 7-11

Memory Verse: And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

When Robert Schuller finished the construction of the Crystal Cathedral which formerly was a movie theatre, he asked himself, “What next?” What else can I achieve? What else can I conquer? What else will I spend my talents doing? What else will keep me half awake over the night? What else will keep me banging the gate of heaven for continuous provision of Divine resources? What else will keep my mind exploring?

A life without challenges is a dull, boring, complacent and uninspiring one. It is a life that will always end up in mediocrity and oblivion. If you must shine, you must step out gallantly taking daring steps. In challenges are opportunities to keep refreshed and re-invigorated.

Our prayers should not be to have a challenge-free life but for God to equip us with abilities to overcome. Do not create success and revel in it in your state of inertia. View challenges positively. God has equipped us with the resources, skills and abilities to make a difference.

Life has a way of throwing challenges at us whether we like it or not yet, we can also pick up a new challenge ourselves. What one person sees as an obstacle, another sees as a mere challenge. Our perspective determines our attitude. View life positively.

Quote: When life throws lemons at you, turn them to lemonade.

Prophetic Decree: Receive Divine enablement to turn challenges into stepping stones to higher heights in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus:

By the power of the Most High, I command all mountains before me to become plains. All physical and spiritual Goliaths, fall down flat before my David. I rise above all limitations. I receive a large heart after the order of Solomon (1 Kings 4:29) to think the unthinkable and walk in great wisdom and innovation in Jesus name.
