ALTERNATIVES TO YOUR DESTINY (1)

Bible Reading: Eph. 3:4-11, Rom. 6:20-22

Memory Verse: In him was life; and the life was the light of men John 1:4

God put you on the earth for a purpose. As you discover and pursue His purpose for your life, your problems will give way. The devil is a master at altering God’s purpose in the lives of believers and he does that by moving you into an alternative destiny. There are four alternatives to your destiny and if you will not fall into these traps, you need to know how to avoid them. These alternatives are:

1. What you will become if you are not born again: Apostle Paul could have become a murderer if he was not saved on the road to Damascus. Understand that the devil always has a plan for you on hand if you do not embrace the purpose of God for your life. The devil has replaced the holy call God placed on several people because they refused to be born again or did not take their salvation experience serious enough.

If you refuse to accept Jesus as your Lord and saviour, the devil already has something to make of you. You must make up your mind today that you will not fulfill the plan of the devil. There are armed robbers who carry the call of God upon them, but because they have not become born again, they are already running the devil’s alternative. You know what you were before you were saved. If you stray from the path of Life, those things will come back in a hurry. Consequently, you would miss your portion in eternity and the highest purpose of God for you as a believer.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:  Exodus 7 – 9

Quote: There will always be another way that looks like the Way.

Prophetic Decree: May you never settle for anything lesser than your original destiny in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Lord, have mercy on me!

2. I turn away from every secret sin hunting my divine purpose in Jesus’ name.

3. I decree death to any power in my root pushing me away from God’s original destiny in Jesus name.

4. By the authority of heaven, I establish the original counsel of God for my life, in Jesus name.

5. Destiny swallowers die in Jesus name.
