Bible Reading: Romans 1:18-32

Memory Verse: Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead you live under the freedom of God’s grace. Romans 6:14 (NLT)

It will surprise you that there are many who groan under the torment of masturbation and other sexual related problems among unbelievers, believers and even ministers. It is becoming an epidemic. Masturbation is exciting one’s genitals usually to a state of orgasm. Masturbation has led many to pornography, rape, incest, etc. It is a silent killer of her host.

What is the way out of masturbation?

1. Be sincere with yourself: Accept it as a sin against God. You desecrate your body, his temple.
2. Repentance and rededication: Tell God to forgive you and rededicate your life to Him.
3. Understand and enforce your identity in Christ: 2 Cor. 5:17 says, YOU ARE A NEW CREATION. Once you feel the urge to masturbate, remind yourself of your new identity. Say this loud: My Old self is dead, I am a new creation.  Sin shall no longer have dominion over me. I am redeemed by the Blood of Jesus. I bring this demonic thought of masturbation to the obedience of Christ, in Jesus name.
4. Scriptural meditation: To meditate is to think deeply about a matter. Meditate on these scriptures day and night until it enters your spirit.  Rom. 6:14, 1 Peter 2:9, 2 Cor. 5:17
5. Go for Deliverance: This expels the evil spirit in charge of masturbation.
6. Burn the bridge: You may have to stay off phones with access to the internet as an act of self discipline. Burn all pornographic materials (magazines and videos) around you. Most importantly, run away from friends that fuel such passions.
7. Plead the Blood of Jesus always: Upon your spirit, soul and body.

Prophetic Decree: I agree with you today: Sin shall no more have dominion over you, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. I silence any evil voice of masturbation, in the name of Jesus.

2. Evil appetite for sin die, in Jesus name.

3. Fleshly lust in my body, roast to ashes in Jesus name.

4. Fire of deliverance enter my foundation and destroy every root of masturbation in Jesus name.

5. I cover my mind, emotions and will with the Blood of Jesus.
