Bible Reading: Acts 2: 42-47
Memory Verse: Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common. Acts 2:44 (NKJV)
The impact of the missionaries who came to Africa cannot be overemphasized. Their track record and blue print are visible. From education to health care, etc. May the works of these heroes and heroine of faith keep speaking till time eternal in Jesus name.
There is no success without a good successor! I have a dream!! The Church of God is fast backsliding in its humanitarian roles. Take a look: Let us assume we have ten (10) Christian denominations and each of them focus only on one facet of the economy. While one launches out in rural electrification, another is busy building schools, another denomination trains the teachers in such schools, and yet another denomination equips the schools with state of the art equipment. There is absolutely no harm if a particular Christian denomination is poised to building state of the art hospitals, another denomination equips them and yet another denomination services equipment and trains the staff. This is my heart cry. If we must make impact in our world, we must actively participate in developing human capacity and skill acquisition.
The tithes and offering of various Church worshippers in the Christian body should not only be channeled to building monumental edifices but like the early Church, should be used to make lasting and sustainable impact on the lives of her members and the nations of the world.
Quote: The joy of living is the joy of giving.
Prophetic Word: The gate of hell shall not prevail over the Church, in Jesus name.
Prayer Focus:
1. O Lord, guide our leaders right, give them a new vision in Jesus name.
2. Father Lord, revive your work in your Church today, in Jesus name.
3. We cast out every spirit of selfishness and self-glory in the body of Christ, in Jesus name.
4. Father Lord, bind your Church together in love and brokenness in Jesus name.
5. I cast out every spirit of division amidst the body of Christ, in Jesus name.
