NOAH: “THE LORD SHUT HIM IN”

NOAH: “THE LORD SHUT HIM IN”

DWOJ Daily Words of Jesus Devotional Post December

Sun., Dec. 3, 2017.

Bible Reading:  Genesis 7: 11-18

Memory Verse: So those that entered, male and female of all flesh, went in as God had commanded him; and the LORD shut him in. Genesis 7:16 (NKJV)

Was Noah safe inside the Ark because he built it according to God’s specifications?  Perhaps it was the strength of the gopher wood and the soundness of the architecture that ensured that the waters of the flood would not come into the Ark?

Genesis 7:16 gives an adequate answer: “The animals going in were male and female of every living thing as God had commanded Noah…then God shut him in….Even after Noah had built the Ark, it was God Himself who “shut him in”, in order to shut out the waters of the flood. Another translation of this verse says “The Lord sealed them inside.” May the Almighty God seal us inside His Ark of protection in this “…ember months” in Jesus name. Our blood and that of those connected to us in destiny shall not be used to balance satanic targets and projections in Jesus name.

It is not because you have locked your house that keeps you safe at night, it is not your good driving skills that keeps you safe on the road, neither is it your healthy eating habits that has kept you healthy – only God can shut you in and shut out the devil that is seeking to devour you.

He that watches over Israel neither slumber nor sleep. Nevertheless, you should live in wisdom, walk responsibly, keep good company and be security conscious.

Quote: He that watches over Israel neither slumber nor sleep.

Prophetic Decree: May you forever dwell under the shadows of the Almighty, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus:

  1. Father, shield me with your banner of love and protection in the remaining part of this year in Jesus name.
  2. I refuse to be a candidate of untimely death, kidnapping, abuse, murder, accidents, diseases and rape in Jesus name.
  3. My Father, sharpen my discernment in Jesus name.
  4. Thou I walk in the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil, in Jesus name.
  5. I command an angelic cloud of fire by day and a wall of by night, in Jesus name.
