Bible Reading: 2 Timothy 2:19 – 21

Memory Verse:But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. 2 Timothy 2:20

To be consecrated means to be set apart for a particular use. Out of the twelve (12) tribes of Israel, the Levites were consecrated unto the Lord. They did no job other than to minister as Priests unto the Lord. Isn’t it amazing? The Rechabites in Jeremiah 35 consecrated themselves for ages taking no wine or strong drink; not even when the Lord spoke contrary through Prophet Jeremiah. The African Israelites in our yesterday’s devotional also consecrated themselves. They ate no meat or milk and drank only water and soya milk. That’s it, beloved.

You must carefully choose the rules governing your heart and your life if you must stand tall and unique in your generation. You can’t be talking, eating, playing, or gossiping like others and you expect to work in the power of the Holy Spirit. There is a price to be paid. Job consecrated his eyes when he said, “I made a covenant with my eyes not to look lustfully at a young woman.” Job 31:1(NIV) The Bible says in a large house there are many vessels, some unto honour and others unto dishonour. You decide the type of vessel you will become. There is a clarion call in the heart of the Almighty to raise up fire brands for end time ministry.

The devil has changed gear knowing fully well that his time is short. The pressure of your wants, needs and ego must not separate you from joining this End time army of the Lord. The world is in dare need of revival. Where are the men who will walk and work in the miraculous? Men like D.L Moody who will not say a word on a train yet, the manifest presence of God is convicting men. Men like Ostwald J. Smith. Men like Smith Wiggleworth who will box goitre and it will immediately disappear. Women like Kathryn Kuhlman who will know the Holy Spirit as a friend. Our world is in dare need of another Elijah who will call literal fire down into the camp of kidnappers.

Men like the Apostles of old who will not love their lives unto death. Where are such men and women who will tarry on the altar of prayer to pray for days like the late Apostle Babalola? Where are men like the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa who will defile existing protocols and do mega things for God and silence the activities of witches in live television broadcast? The pathway is radical consecration – a complete separation from sin, self and all forms of worldliness unto heartfelt prayers and Word addiction. Consecration is the answer. Brokenness is the watchword. Are you ready?

Assignment: Between now and 7 days’ time, do a 7-hour personal retreat alone with the Lord requesting for his revival fire in your heart.

Quote: God uses only broken vessels.

Prophetic Decree: Receive your deliverance from spiritual Luke warmness
