Bible Reading: Romans 14:4, Matthew 7:1-5

Memory VerseWho are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand. Romans 14:4 (NKJV)

A backsliding minister had an affair with a lady. He got convicted and repented. He told her he was done with sin and sinning but the lady wouldn’t let him be. The lady felt used and dumped and decided to hit back at him. She reported to the Church authority. With the help of Satan, her pride got a voice. The young man was suspended publicly and disgraced without trial. It took only the grace of God for him to hold on to his conviction until he was restored, yet the stigma wouldn’t leave him until the Lord began to advertise His power in his life in a very special way.

In another story, a lady together with some elders framed up an assistant pastor on the ground of sexual assault. The Pastor never recovered from the shock until his ministry was grounded. Dear brethren, please help a dying soldier. No matter the gravity of the allegations, with the Holy Ghost as our guide, let’s investigate deep in love with the intention of restoration of our fellow soldiers in Christ. Deji Ajewole’s once wrote: “We Christians are the experts in killing our wounded soldiers. When enemies stab our fellow soldiers and they are at their weakest, rather than help pull them up and bind up their wounds, we allow infestation of the wounds to take place. And if their wounds have been healed, and they are up and running, we look for the scars, we open them and draw more blood.

That way, they perpetually carry on with wounds that are never allowed to heal. How many times have we stabbed rather than bind up the wounded’s wounds? How many times have you tried to introduce people behind their backs and the only thing you could use to describe them was their errors of judgement decades or months past? God has forgiven and wiped clean slates of many people, but we humans that God sacrificed His only son for would take pleasure in digging up the past on certain individuals, especially when it seemed we are competing for the same thing.”

Quote: Never call unclean what God has called clean.

Prophetic Decree: We command healing to every wounded soldier of Christ, in Jesus name.
