Bible Reading: Revelation 21: 1-4, 19-27

Memory Verse But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. 2 Peter 3:13 (ESV)

Do you sometimes think of life after death? Do you sometimes think of what happens after you die? What motivates your actions and intentions? What motivates even your good intentions? Do you do that which you do because you want to make heaven, or because you want men to hail and praise you? Who are you accountable to? Do you examine your life daily? Ultimately, do you think of heaven?

I know you want to make ends meet. I know you are sometimes under financial pressure. I know you may have one reason or the other to compromise your stand in God. But, no matter you reason or intention, strive to enter into heaven.

What are those things you are intentionally doing in order to make heaven? Where are your good works? Where are the souls you are winning to the kingdom on a daily/weekly basis? What about the prison evangelism, motor park evangelism, evangelism in rehabilitation homes, etc? Many have long forgotten their first love. Matthew 6:20 says, “But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal”.

Be warned: Ministers who use God’s anointing to amass wealth and swindle people. Because God is working through you – you are raising the dead, healing the sick, casting out demons, etc, does not mean your name is written in the book of life. There will be surprises in heaven. Don’t use your work for God to destroy your walk with God. You can be working for God but not walking with God (Matthew 7: 21-23).

Quote: There will never be any good excuse for missing heaven.

Prophetic Decree: Any power saying you shall not make heaven shall be wasted, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. My Father, today I confess, repent and I rededicate my life to you, in Jesus name.

2. I break the yoke of all hidden and easily besetting sins holding me down on the way to heaven, in Jesus name.

3. My Father, help me to finish well, and help me to finish strong, in Jesus name.

4. My Father, take away all hindrances to my making heaven, in Jesus name.

5. I receive grace to daily store up treasures in heaven, in Jesus name.
