Bible Reading: Ephesians 5: 25-33

Memory Verse  Husbands, love your wives [seek the highest good for her and surround her with a caring, unselfish love], just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her. Ephesians 5:25 (AMP)

HUSBANDS

1. You can lead a woman and earn her loyalty to you even if you are not rich. Money alone do not buy loyalty. All you have to do is constantly talk to her about your dreams, goals, and aspirations and daily put in the effort to achieve them. Most men think money alone is enough to get the loyalty of a woman. Sure, you can buy it with money, but you’ll keep paying for it for eternity and the day the money finishes, that’s the day you lose her loyalty. Be honest with her and let her be willing and excited to be a part of your journey. Let her buy into your dreams and goals and she would willingly be your motivation. And please, when you finally achieve them, treat her like a queen. This is the only way you can make a woman loyal to you without money.

2. Reducing your spouse with your words in public or private is verbal abuse and should have NO place in marriage. Your spouse is never to be your verbal punching bag or the butt of your jokes.

3. No other person should have the same connection or closeness to you as your spouse.

4. Women are naturally very intuitive. They can know when something isn’t right, even without having facts or evidence. Use this to your advantage by listening to her opinion or suggestions, especially about major decisions or sensitive issues.

5. On your wedding day, you were called bride-groom. Do well to groom your bride. She must be better than you met her.

Quote: The man who sanctifies his wife understands that this is his divinely ordained responsibility… Is my wife more like Christ because she is married to me? Or is she like Christ in spite of me? Has she shrunk from His likeness because of me? Do I sanctify her or hold her back? Is she a better woman because she is married to me?”  – R. Kent Hughes.

Prophetic Decree: Receive the sceptre of authority needed for marital bliss, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Any wall of partition between me and my spouse, be broken, in Jesus name.

2. Holy Spirit, rekindle the love between me and my spouse, in Jesus name.

3 Any evil candle lit to scatter my home, be quenched, in Jesus name.

4. Any evil cauldron housing my marriage pictures, catch fire, in Jesus name.

5. I receive marital wisdom in my home, in Jesus name.
