Bible Reading: Habakkuk 2: 1-4, Matthew 24:35

Memory VerseHeaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. Matthew 24:35 (CSB)

As the year runs to an end, I believe you will be doing some evaluation. As humans, it is easier to concentrate on those things we are yet to have than many of the things God has done. That’s the nature of the natural man, but you must deliberately work against that. You will need to sit down and write down your blessings one by one if you must be really grateful. Dear brethren, don’t  let those unmet expectations douse your faith and confidence in the Lord. If not for God, perhaps life would have been worse.

An aspiring gubernatorial candidate from one of the states in Nigeria went to meet a man of God for prayers. He was confident God answers the prayers of this great General. That year, he lost the election. Unwavering, he held unto the words of prophecy and ran for elections again after four years. Then, the God whose words is full of power stepped into the case. The sitting Governor with all his incumbency powers lost the election.

That’s the God whom you serve. If God has said it, He will do it. He has exalted His words above His name. No wonder Habakkuk 2:3 (NKJV) says, “For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.” Can you see the Lord give you that special testimony even before the end of this year?

Can you see the Lord establish his predetermined counsel for your life even in the new year? Let faith rise up in you, dear friend. If He has said it, He will do it. Keep Waiting on Him. Matthew 24:35 (NKJV), “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.”

QuoteGod has got a track record of keeping to His words.

Prophetic Decree:  Let the wall of unbelief break in your heart, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. O Lord, please give me a 24hours breakthrough, in Jesus name.

2. I will not die before my testimony manifest, in Jesus name.

3. Angels of goodwill, visit my family before the end of this year, in Jesus name.

4. I receive grace to hold-on to the words of faith as touching my destiny, in Jesus name.

5. I break the power of delay over my long-awaited miracle, in Jesus name.

6. All my remaining testimonies in Year 2023 shall not elude me, in Jesus name.
