Bible Reading:  Jeremiah 33:3
Memory Verse:  It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter. Proverbs 25:2 (NKJV)

While it is God’s will for Him to reveal His perfect will for your life per time. It is not for the unserious, or for those who do not hunger and thirst after Him? Nothing of value is found on the surface. You have to search with all seriousness to find it out. According to the Psalm 91:1, there is the secret place of God. There is a price attached to knowing God’s perfect will for your life. Goodnews: You can master the act of knowing God’s perfect will for your life. No good father hides himself away from his hungry children for too long. God is that father that freely gives good gifts to His children. God is a Spirit who speaks into the spirit of mortal men for their soul (mind) to interprete it, and for their bodies to actualise it.

How then do you know God’s will for your life?
1.Be genuinely born again: To be born again is to be born anew. It is a spiritual birth. It starts with godly sorrow for your sins and repentance from all dead works. You can’t be coming to the pulpit to confess Jesus chewing gum and you say you have surrendered your life to Christ.

2.Stay in the Word: This is your surest bet. The infallible way by which God reveals His will is through His Word. If you haven’t understood God’s general will about friendship, how then do you know his specific will in life long issues such as marriage. Start from the basics. Read your Bible daily. Don’t be too busy to know God daily. Don’t be too busy to master the mind of God on all matters. Have a Bible reading plan.

  1. Prayers: James 5:16b (AMP), “The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) is able to accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].” There are many benefits of prayers. First, the spirit of prayer is the spirit of revelation. The eyes of your understanding open as you pray (Ephesians 1:17). Prayer produces conviction which erode your doubts and confusion. Prayer opens you up to deeper layers of revelation. Prayer subdue your will for the will of God to take preeminence. Prayer brings a divine assurance into your spirit. Prayer creates a supernatural aura around your life.

Quote: At the centre of God’s will is everlasting joy.

Prophetic Decree: This year, you will not run your own agenda, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

  1. I repent of every known and unknown sin, in Jesus name.
  2. I receive grace and access into the will of God in Jesus name.
  3. As I open the scriptures, the scripts of the will of God for my life shall become pictures in my mind, in Jesus name.
  4. I receive grace to press into the will of God on the altar of prayers, in Jesus name.
  5. By your hand of mercy, O Lord, bring me into your programme for my life, in Jesus name.
