Bible Reading: John 14: 12-14

Memory VerseBut if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! John 15:7 (NLT)

Permit me to share the testimony of a brother. He said: I have encountered God in several ways. Miracles are an act of God which cannot be explained by an ordinary mind. If I share some of my testimony, there are people with very myopic minds that will doubt it. I have once laid hands on my gas cylinder that was empty and I used it for a month and 2 weeks before I had money to buy gas.

It happened in 2013 to be precise. I laid hands on it and told God to make it stop working the day money comes into my hand. The very day I sold 3 plots of land as a realtor, the gas cylinder stopped working. What happened? I got home and ask my son to go and put on the gas! He went to the kitchen only to come back saying, “Daddy, the gas has stopped working.” He was there when I prayed and told God what I wanted about the gas cylinder. Now, somebody who does not know my relationship with God will rebuff such testimonies.

He further said: What motivated me was the testimony Papa Enoch Adeboye shared about the miracle God wrought when he was coming from Edo State and ran out of fuel. It was during Abacha regime when there was fuel scarcity. He got to Benin City and found out there was a long queue, so he decided to proceed to Ore, Ondo State, Nigeria thinking he will get fuel, but only to find out there was no fuel in Ore, and the entire Ondo State.

With no other option, he prayed and the Holy Spirit told him to keep driving and not look at the fuel gauge. He obeyed and drove the car to his house at Redemption Camp. He tried to start the car after putting it off but the car wouldn’t start again.

There are seemingly weird and uncommon testimonies like this. But beloved, it’s all about intimacy! A lot of believers think God is their mate. He is the Almighty God. Don’t try to box him with your little knowledge of Him. He is too big a God. If He could envelop a child in the womb of a woman who never slept with a man, then He should be feared. He is bigger and smarter than our little brains.

Finally, don’t condemn a dimension of God you haven’t experienced. Let’s keep the unity of the body in the bond of peace.

QuoteYou can experience God’s miracle in every little thing surrounding your life.

Prophetic Decree: By the force of intimacy, you shall experience great and uncommon miracles, in Jesus name.

1. Sing the hymn, “Draw me nearer.”

2. O Lord, take me deeper in intimacy with You, in Jesus name.

3. Lord, let my secret life be filled with personal testimonies of divine encounter with You, in Jesus name.

4. My walk with God shall be full of uncommon testimonies, in Jesus name.

5. I receive grace not to condemn a dimension I haven’t experienced, in Jesus name.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:  Ezekiel 16-17

Hymnal:  I AM THINE, O LORD, I HAVE HEARD THY VOICE

1. I am Thine, O Lord, I have heard Thy voice,

And it told Thy love to me;

But I long to rise in the arms of faith,

And be closer drawn to Thee.

Refrain:

Draw me nearer, nearer, nearer, blessed Lord,

To the cross where Thou hast died;

Draw me nearer, nearer, nearer, blessed Lord,

To Thy precious, bleeding side.

2. Consecrate me now to Thy service, Lord,

By the pow’r of grace divine;

Let my soul look up with a steadfast hope,

And my will be lost in Thine.

3. Oh, the pure delight of a single hour

That before Thy throne I spend,

When I kneel in prayer, and with Thee, my God,

I commune as friend with friend!

4. There are depths of love that I cannot know

Till I cross the narrow sea;

There are heights of joy that I may not reach

Till I rest in peace with Thee.
