WHAT DO YOU FEED YOUR MIND WITH?

WHAT DO YOU FEED YOUR MIND WITH?

Bible Reading: Psalm 119:11, Isaiah 26:3, Proverbs 7:1-3

Memory Verse:  Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Proverbs 4:23 (NIV)

God’s servant, Vladimir Savchuk further said: What you feed your mind with becomes a mindset.

A mindset is impossible to change without first changing what fills your mind. Typically, when we hear the truth about breaking strongholds or renewing the mind, we get busy trying to change our mindsets. Then, we quickly learn that it is not an easy task.

A mindset is what controls you; the mind is what you control. The only way to change your default thinking is by filling your conscious mind with new information about God’s truth. Once the conscious mind is filled to the overflow, it slips into the subconscious mind.

It’s important to note that so many of our behaviours are automatic, meaning they are unconscious actions we take. This is why we often set goals but do not reach them. Setting goals is the function of the conscious mind, but reaching them is the task of the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind occupies most of the brain.

It does not work by logic; therefore, it believes anything that is told repeatedly by the conscious mind.

This is why it’s important for us to feed our minds with information from the Word of God. When we do, the Holy Spirit turns that information into revelation, and this soon becomes our new mindset. Every time you give an opportunity for the Holy Spirit to bring a revelation from God’s Word, you can be sure that He will turn the revelation of that Word into a manifestation of that Word, producing visible results in your life.

Before there can be a manifestation in your circumstances, you must allow the Spirit of God to bring revelation into your spirit.

I want to encourage you to read, memorise, and meditate on the Bible, listen to podcasts, and read Christian books. Fill your mind with the truth of the Word of God, and the Holy Spirit will make it come alive, which will, in turn, change your mindset and transform your life.

Quote: You are the books you read, the films you watch, the music you listen to, the people you meet, the dreams you have, and the conversations you engage in.

Prophetic Decree:  May the fire of God consume every negative mindset, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Father, thank you for leading me to understand how my mindset can change. I pray that You would awaken a new hunger in me for Your Word and a devotion to storing it in my heart daily. Help me to understand the value of your Word and the privilege it is to have it.

2. Let the hammer of the Word of God break every negative mindset, in Jesus name.

3. Let the fire in the Word of God, purge my spirit, in Jesus name.

4. Let the water of the Word quench my thirsty soul, in Jesus name.

5. Let the power in the Word of God, break every negative mindset in my life, in Jesus name.
