Bible Reading: Hebrews 10.35-36

Memory Verse:  There’s more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we’re hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. Romans 5:3-4 (MSG

Talking about the Refiner’s Process, God’s servant, Rev. Austin Ukporhe said: Every child of God must pass through the furnace of affliction to become useful in the hands of God. Romans 5:3 (NKJV), “And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance“.

God does not mass produce soldiers. He forges them one by one. When you go through trials, you emerge as a product that has been tested, certified, and proven worthy of higher use. God’s dealings are not random. Every pain, every season of waiting, and every hardship is producing in you a spiritual stamina and depth that nothing else can.

The danger today is that many want the crown without the cross, promotion without process, and blessings without bruises. But only patient men can withstand the dealings of God. Remember King Saul. His downfall was rooted in impatience. He couldn’t wait for Samuel (1 Samuel 13), and that singular act cost him the throne.

Confidence is Key! Hebrews 10.35-36 (KJV) “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.”

Your confidence is not just boldness; it is the fuel for your patience. The day your confidence dies, your patience withers. This is why Satan targets your faith and confidence in God. If he can make you doubt, he can make you quit. Confidence here means to be free and fearless, full of courage and resolve. God does not operate on our clock. The primary posture of our relationship with God is that of waiting. You should be full of expectations and faith while waiting.

Quote: There are no crown without the cross, no promotion without process, and no blessings without bruises.

Prophetic Decree:  Your confidence in God shall not die and your patience in God shall not wither, in the name of Jesus.

Prayer Focus

1. I receive grace to pass through the furnace of affliction that I may be useful in God’s hands, in Jesus name.

2. I receive grace to go through trials, that I may emerge as a product that has been tested, certified, and proven worthy of higher use, in Jesus name.

3. I receive a renewed mindset that I may be empowered to know that every pain, every season of waiting, and every hardship is producing in me a spiritual stamina and depth that nothing else can.

4. I refuse to lose my throne due to impatience. I receive grace to wait on God till my change comes, in Jesus name.

5. I receive grace not to cast away my confidence which has great recompense of reward.
