Bible Reading: Proverbs 23:23

Memory Verse:  Invest in truth and wisdom, discipline and good sense, and don’t part with themProverbs 23:23 (CEV)

Be blessed:

1. On half-truth:  We need to know that the greatest weapon in the hands of the devil is not outright lie but distorted truth. He hides his lies inside some ‘truth’ to make it irresistible – Daddy Victor Olukoji.

2. On constant exposure: Constant exposure (e.g. to ungodly music, videos, friends, habits etc) softens resistance. Set clear boundaries.

3. On discipline: Don’t create an environment for your lust to manifest itself.

4. On property: To be rich is cash-based but to be wealthy is asset-based!

5. On storms: Not all storms have to be still before you fly. Ask the eagle who uses the storm to soar.

6. On marriage: Marriage will work when two selfless people want the other person to the happier than them – Pastor Dolapo Lawal.

7. On reading good books: If you must choose between buying bread or book, buy the book and learn from the book how to buy the bread.

8. On humility: Act like you can’t afford the bread until they find out you own the bakery. Stay humble and let your success speak for itself.

9. On lifelong learning:  When you’re young, you learn to read but when you’re old, you read to learn. Commit to lifelong learning.

10. On salvation: Everything has gone up in price except salvation. It is still a free gift, paid in full by Jesus.

11. On thinking right: God doesn’t just want you to live right, He wants you to think right. Infact, you can’t live right without thinking right.

12. On the pursuit of God: The pursuit of God is not a part-time, weekend exercise. If it is, chances are you will experience a part-time, weekend freedom – A.W. Tozer.

13. On holding on to God’s promises: Don’t allow what man said in the public affect what God has told you in the secret.

14. On prayer: Anything worth worrying about is worth praying about.

15. On divine speed: Keep praying. Keep preparing. Keep walking with God. When the season of divine speed comes, you will move forward in ways that surprise everyone and even yourself.

Prophetic Decree: Receive fresh baptism of wisdom, knowledge and understanding today, in Jesus name.

THE QUIET DESTROYERS (2)

One of the greatest dangers in the life of a believer is not the sins everyone can see, but the ones that hide quietly in the heart. These sins rarely attract attention, yet they slowly drain spiritual strength and weaken a man’s destiny. Hebrews 12:1 says, “Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles”...

THE QUIET DESTROYERS (1)

The Quiet Destroyers are otherwise known as Secret Sins That Ruin Destiny. Many destinies have not been destroyed by loud sins, but by quiet ones. The sins nobody sees. The ones people excuse. The ones hidden behind reputation, ministry, intelligence, or success. Yet heaven sees them clearly. The Bible says, “Be sure your sin will find you out” (Numbers 32:23). Secret sins do not remain secret forever. They slowly weaken the soul until a man who once carried promise begins to lose weight in the spirit...
