Bible Reading:  Luke 4:18

Memory VerseBut on Mount Zion there shall be deliverance, And there shall be holiness; The house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. Obedience 1:17 (NKJV)

What is deliverance? Deliverance is God setting a person free from anything that has taken control over their life; whether it is sin, oppression, bondage, or spiritual influence. It is the power of God breaking chains that you cannot break by yourselves.

Practical Examples of People Who Need Deliverance:

1. The person trapped in repeated sin: Someone who keeps falling into the same habit—lust, anger, lying, addiction—despite genuine efforts to stop. You pray, fast, and try discipline, but the cycle continues. Like the man in Romans 7:19, you say, “The good I want to do, I do not do.” Sometimes it’s not just weakness, it’s bondage. Deliverance breaks the cycle.

2. The person battling strange, unexplainable patterns: Everything seems to go wrong at the edge of breakthrough – job collapse, relationships fail, progress suddenly reverses. It feels like an invisible resistance. This reflects the kind of oppression seen in Mark 5:1-15, where a man’s life was controlled by forces beyond him. Some of these patterns could also be generational i.e. noticeable patterns even with your parents (Exodus 20:5).

3. The person under heavy fear and anxiety: This is not normal worry but deep, persistent fear, panic, or torment, especially at night or in quiet moments. The Bible says in 2 Timothy 1:7 that God has not given us a spirit of fear. If fear is ruling your life, it is no longer just emotion, it may need deliverance.

4. The person addicted or controlled by substances or behaviours: Alcohol, drugs, pornography, gambling, or even social media—anything that controls your will. Like the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-24, you may know what is right but feel powerless to return. Deliverance restores control back to you under God.

Take note: Deliverance is not complete until it is tripartite. This means the power of God expels the evil spirit at work (spirit), you meditate on the Word of God daily (soul transformation), and you learn to daily kill the works of your flesh (body).

Quote: Your deliverance has been purchased by the power of God. Go take delivery.

Prophetic Decree: Heaven will not rest until you are free indeed, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Today, I repent, renounce and reject all the sins of my ancestors working against my destiny, in Jesus name.

2. By the power in the Blood of Jesus, I break the evil patterns of my father’s house, in Jesus name.

3. Every yoke of sin tied around my neck, break by the anointing of God’s Spirit today, in Jesus name.

4. Fear is a torment. Today, I break the siege of the spirit of fear in my life, in Jesus name.

5. I break every burden of masturbation, pornography, uncontrollable sex, alcohol, drugs, gambling, and even the social media upon my heart, in Jesus name.

By the time the month ends, only a little remains. It becomes a cycle of working harder just to maintain life. But there is another principle: build and hold assets...

 THE NARROW PASSAGE

Even though it is quite narrow, a huge amount of the world’s oil supply passes through it every day. Because the passage is narrow, many ships cannot move carelessly...
