There was a moment in Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke’s life that revealed the heart of true kingdom passion. He was faced with a simple need of $50 for rent, then he cried out to God in faith. But when the Holy Spirit asked him a deeper question, “Do you want me to give you $1 million?”, something shifted. Instead of choosing comfort, he chose purpose. Through tears, he responded, “Lord, I don’t want $1 million, I want one million souls.”

This is the difference between a life centred on needs and a life consumed by God’s heartbeat.

Jesus looked at the crowds and was moved with compassion because they were “harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.” That same compassion is what fuels passion for souls. It is not driven by popularity, numbers, or recognition, but by a deep burden to see lives rescued from darkness.

Many believers pray for provision, promotion, and breakthroughs—and rightly so. But heaven responds powerfully when our desires align with God’s eternal agenda: the salvation of souls. When Evangelist Bonnke chose souls over silver, heaven backed his life with unusual grace and impact.

Passion for souls is costly. It requires surrender, love, and sometimes discomfort. But it carries eternal reward. A single soul is worth more than all the riches of this world.

The question is simple: What moves your heart more: temporary needs or eternal destinies?

Prophetic Decree: Receive a fresh baptism of compassion for souls.

Prayer Focus

1. Lord, I repent of my lackadaisical attitude towards souls, in Jesus name.

2. Father, please give me Your heart for the lost, in Jesus name.

3. Lord Jesus, please remove every form of selfishness and comfort that blinds me to eternal realities, in Jesus name.

4. My Father, please fill me with boldness to share the Gospel and compassion to reach the broken, in Jesus name.

5. Lord, let my life count for souls, in Jesus name. Amen.

6. Decree: My heart aligns with God’s heartbeat. I will not live for temporary gain but for eternal impact. Through me, lives shall be saved, and heaven shall be populated in Jesus name.
