Bible Reading: Ecclesiastes 11:4
Memory Verse: If you wait for perfect conditions, you will never get anything done. Ecclesiastes 11:4 (TLB)
The daily routine and personal work ethics of people in high places of the earth sometimes is worth studying. In no small way, it has also contributed to who they are and what they represent.
A multibillionaire says, “I deal with things the way they are”. He went ahead to substantiate for this. He said if he was going somewhere and there seems to be a lot of traffic. He will ask, “How many hours will it take to go through the traffic?”. If it will take 4 hours, he will intentionally factor in the 4 hours before he starts the journey. One thing is sure: He must achieve his aim.
He went ahead to give another illustration. He said when he was in school and it was raining on a day he had a class. He simply went under the rain to school soaked and drenched. While many were laughing at him, he was proud that he surmounted a scary obstacle in order to achieve his aim.
The two testimonies says the same thing. A wish is never enough to achieve your aim. Take action. Secondly, no place on earth is free from every day challenges. If you feel the other side is greener, you just have to wait until you get there.
The third quarter of Year 2023 is ticking, you need to evaluate your goals and hold yourself responsible. The secret of making progress lies in God’s grace and ever taking action. Action orientation!
