Bible Reading: Jeremiah 35: 1-19

Memory Verse: Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: ‘Go and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, “Will you not receive instruction to obey My words?” says the LORD. Jeremiah 35:13 (NKJV)

God’s servant, Apostle Michael Orokpo once said, “This generation has not truly understood the word commitment. One of the secrets of spiritual power is altar. You provoke the intervention of a spirit when you raise an altar. Altars are convergent point of spirits. A man without an altar will remain a story teller all his life. He can sense the plan of God for his life, but he is never able to enter into his inheritance. Every time power was wrought in the scriptures, there was an altar backing it up.
Anytime an altar appears, a spirit is commanded. The integrity of spirits responds to altars. Altars are the lighten spots of spirits.” Many times, we talk about altars when we want to generate power for divine intervention but, do you know that there are altars of consecration God could be demanding of you in order to generate power? An altar is a commitment to God. God could make a demand from you, and as you commit yourself to such, God, as a matter of necessity must show up for you. God could specifically tell you never to sleep with anyone outside marriage, and that becomes a very special altar of consecration for your own destiny.
Every other thing God will be doing with your life will be hinged on that one instruction. For you, that’s a Destiny Defining Altar of Consecration (DDAC). Others may break such instructions and God pardons them, but you cannot. God could instruct you specifically to give 40% of all your earnings to Him. Don’t contemplate. That’s your own altar of consecration. God could tell you specifically not to listen to secular music, instead pray 2-3 hours every night, fast thrice a week, never talk no matter what happens whenever you are annoyed, or shut down all your social media platforms in the interim, or no more kickbacks, padding of contracts, etc., in your place of work.
Such instructions becomes your own specific altar of consecration. “Others may, but you cannot”. In such cases, GOD IS LOOKING FOR AN EXCUSE TO ALWAYS RESPOND TO YOU REGARDLESS OF YOUR CIRCUMSTANCE. Your altar is a divine excuse for divine intervention. Such becomes a covenant between you and God. All these commanded instructions are altars that secures the watchfulness of God’s spirit. The road to power is not so difficult but the question is, “Will you continually keep to its demands”.
Quote: Spirits hear the depth of our consecration when we speak, and not our voices.
Prophetic Decree: Your voice shall be heard in your generation, in Jesus name.
Prayer Focus

  1. Ever committed Father, I love you.
  2. My Father, give me a willing spirit and a committed heart to all your instructions, in Jesus name.
  3. I receive grace not to trivialize destiny changing instructions, in Jesus name.

  5. I receive deliverance from itchy ears and disobedient spirit, in Jesus name.
