Bible Reading: Deuteronomy 8: 1-20

Memory Verse: If you do forget the LORD your God and follow other gods to serve and worship them, I solemnly warn you today that you shall surely perish. Deuteronomy 8:19 (NRSV)

Don’t be quick to forget where God brought you from. As a matter of fact, please surround yourself with materials that remind you of your sojourn from Egypt to your Promised land. Keep some of those clothes you wore while ‘hustling’. Keep some of those pictures that remind you of how far God has helped you.

Now that you are settled, how is your spiritual life? When last did you win a soul for the Lord? When last did you declare a personal fast? Oh, now you can wake up, open your fridge and you can see various assorts. Fasting is no longer important.

The human mind is quick to forget. You are quick to forget destiny helpers that God used in your transition process. Now you can open your mouth and talk to the parents who sold their clothes and jewelries to train you. Beware of the danger that comes with the season of ease. Beware! Many have gone from grace to grass when they couldn’t strike a balance.

Really, you don’t know who you are until blessings comes your way. Your rising has a code attached to it. The continuous blessings of God upon your life is hinged upon some factors, principles and covenants. Should you defile them, you could burn your own destiny.

Young folks, this arrogant display of pride may take you back to the wilderness. Haven’t you heard of people who drove the biggest cars yesterday but have filed for bankruptcy today? The wilderness experience is meant to prepare you for your Promised land, but many have not consciously and deliberately imbibed the lessons hence, they recycle their pain.

Humble yourself today if you want God to keep lifting you. The prophecy, “They that appear in Zion must move from strength to strength” is hinged upon some do’s and don’ts. I pray for you, you will not become a shadow of your glory in Jesus mighty name.

Prophetic Decree: May the mercy of God preserve your destiny, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus 

1. The spirit of Ichabod fighting my roots, be uprooted by fire, in Jesus name.

2. I destroy the activities of emptiers in my foundation, in Jesus name.

3. I receive grace to put my body under the control of my spirit as I move from one level of glory to another, in Jesus name.

4. What brought others down the pinnacle of glory shall not bring me down, in Jesus name.

5. O Lord, please deliver me from negative family patterns hunting my star, in Jesus name.
