Bible Reading: James 1: 26-27

Memory VersePure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. James 1:27 (NLT)

A former football champion who has his root in Nigeria built 100 bungalow houses for the less privileged and homeless people in the hometown where he was born.

A 23-year-old Music Artist is on a journey of building the biggest Music School in Africa. The young singer has already invested over 200 million on a project to promote music in Africa. He intends to make it the biggest Music School in Africa and the tuition will be free in order to help those who are interested in doing music.

Soccer star Sadio Mane may be one of the world’s richest footballers – but he has not turned his back on the poverty-stricken town where he grew up in Senegal. The former Liverpool forward has ploughed an estimated £1million into funding new facilities such as schools and hospitals in Bambali in recent years. His latest gift to the isolated community in the west African country is a brand new mini soccer stadium complete with artificial grass and seats for spectators. It replaces the former football field in Bambali which used to become a mud bath in wet weather.

In order to cushion the hunger in the land, a man decided to give out over 10,000 bags of rice at no cost. Interestingly, he has decided to remain anonymous.  What a heart!

Diasporas and well-meaning individuals, please let God use you touch as many lives as possible in this hard times. You may not be able to build a school or stadium but you can allow God use you to pay someone’s school fees, buy foodstuffs for an orphanage home, buy clothes for the motherless, and put a smile on the widows. This is what the scriptures call True Religion.

Finally, never say you have nothing to give. Leo Buscaglia opined, “Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.”

Quote: Blessed is he who considers the poor; The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble – Psalm 41:1 (NKJV)

Prophetic Decree: Let the heart of love replace your heart of selfishness, in Jesus name.
