Bible Reading: Psalms 51: 1-19

Memory Verse: Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Psalms 51:10 (KJV)

Lord, we must confess. We can’t continue to deceive ourselves. Hiding this matter will not help us either. The truth is that: We Don’t Love You Again. We now have strange lovers littered everywhere. We are that adulterous generation you lamented about 2,000 years ago. We are truthful when we say that it is no more You that we seek, but ourselves. That’s why you still see us in those worldly relationships you have warned us to keep away from.

That’s why you still see us do business in the deep and dirty waters of Babylon. That’s why we still watch ungodly skits and ungodly reality shows on social media, even after you have warned us to stop watching them. Our heart is like that computer that was invaded by a trojan virus; the system is now corrupt and needs formatting as soon as possible.

Our lack of love and honour for You is still the reason why you see us come online everyday without meditating on Scriptures and Praying. Yet, after the whole day, we still won’t seek your face. It’s not that we don’t have time anymore, the truth is we just don’t have your time again. We now seek the gains and the Princes of this world, but you the Prince of eternal life we have not sought.

Our sins are greater than that of the Children of Israel of old that left you and went after Baal. Our own is that we are whoring after Baal and still burning incense in your Holy place; this one, the children of Israel didn’t do. Our sins mounts up to the heavens. Some of us haven’t touched our Bible for weeks, talk less of opening it, yet, we are a people called by your name “Christians”.

Some of us prophesy by your name in the open even when we know that we are quarreling with you in the secret. Some of us don’t even remember if we have ever prayed for one straight hour since Year 2023 began. Lord, yes it is true. It is true that our heart is empty. But if you leave us like this, we are finished.

Quote: Repentance is the only doorway to obtaining mercy from God.

Prophetic Decree: Receive your deliverance from the yoke of the world, sin, devil and flesh, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. I refuse to nail Jesus to the Cross for the second time.

2. I break the yoke of presumptuous sins in my life, in Jesus mighty name.

3. Open wide the door of mercy for me, O God, in Jesus name.

4. I receive grace to be steadfast and unmoveable, always abiding in You, my saviour in Jesus name.

5. Fresh fire and passion for the Word of God and prayers, envelope my soul, in Jesus name.
