Anger is a negative emotion. Anger is one of the works of the flesh. If left uncontrolled, anger could give birth to some terrible losses and irredeemable pain. Recently, a lady cut off the manhood of her boyfriend in anger because he was cheating on her. A widely celebrated TV presenter was also stabbed to death recently by his sinner “side chick” in anger. In anger, some fathers have cursed the earth, and closed the heavens of their erring son, and of course, by the authority vested by God upon Parents, the son began to struggle to make ends meet.
Fathers, shall we be warned! You are accountable to God someday. In anger, Jacob pronounced the death of anyone caught with Laban’s idol not knowing that his beloved wife, Rachel, was the culprit (Gen. 31: 22-35). In anger, Barnabas left Apostle Paul and little or nothing was ever read of his ministerial exploits again. In anger, some wives have poisoned their husbands, and vice versa. In anger, some young adults left home angrily to stay with their sinner boyfriend or girlfriend who in turn destroyed their destiny. Haven’t you heard of people who in their angry state were hit by an oncoming vehicle because the anger blinded them from seeing the oncoming vehicle.
Bosses terminate people’s appointment without a query or considering that they are breadwinners of their families due to uncontrolled anger. There are people who are powerfully anointed as deliverance ministers or song ministers but have terrible anger spirit. Not until some so-called anointed ministers issue a curse or cause an havoc, they can never be pacified. They must surely have their own pound of flesh. Of what use is the grace of God upon your life without the virtue of self control? Friend, I hope you know that the anointing of God upon your life is not a surety that you will make heaven? The scripture says many will say unto God on that judgement day, we did mighty works in Your name, but He will deny them because they are workers of iniquity (Mat. 7: 21-23).
How do you deal with anger spirit?
1. Keep your mouth shut when angry.
2. Walk away from the anger scene.
3. Talk to the Holy Spirit to help you.
4. Bind and cast out the spirit of anger.
5. Deal with foundational anger spirit in your blood and lineage.
6. Avoid people, situations, or discussions that trigger anger.

Prophetic Decree: The anger spirit of your father’s house shall not catch up with your destiny, in Jesus name.
Prayer Focus
1. O Lord, I repent of all the terrible things I have done and said in my sinful state.
2. Spirit of self-control possess my life now, in Jesus name.
3. I uproot the foundational anger spirit of my father’s house, in the name of Jesus.
4. Spirit of anger in my blood, die, in Jesus name.
5. Let there be a transfusion of the blood of Jesus in my spirit, blood, and water, in Jesus name.
