Bible Reading:  2 Corinthians 12: 9

Memory Verse:  So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may work through me. 2 Corinthians 12: 9b (NLT)

Other ways to dealing with your weaknesses include: 4. Be accountable: Someone you trusted could have been disappointed you in time past, but one thing is sure: There are still faithful people within and around you. Look for matured and experienced people with the wisdom of God that can help you out. Sin thrives in secrecy.

5. Build your support system: Rehabilitation centres with a godly foundation will also be of great help. There are Christian Doctors God is now raising to help people come out of addiction from drugs, masturbation,  pornography, etc. There is a psychological relief knowing you are not alone in your fight against your weaknesses.

6. Change your circle of friends: Friendship is life. Your inner circle of friends will most surely shape your thinking and outlook to life. “He who walks [as a companion] with wise men will be wise, But the companions of [conceited, dull-witted] fools [are fools themselves and] will experience harm.” Proverbs 13:20 (AMP)

7. Deliverance Prayers: At the mention of the word deliverance, some Christians shake. The earlier you come to the reality of all the needed tools in Christ needed to become an overcomer in deeds and not just in words, the better for you. There are certain weaknesses that are not light issues to deal with, for they have been part of the person’s character almost for a lifetime; while others are transgenerational flowing in your Blood. Any attempt to part with them may prove difficult; you may fall or fail several times. Deliverance may become the only way out.

8. Fasting: Fasting humbles the flesh. Some weaknesses will stick to you for a lifetime unless you add fasting your prayers.

CAUTION: Don’t neglect your strengths while concentrating too much attention on eliminating your weaknesses. Do not fail to utilize your strengths. Don’t bury your talents while you work on your weaknesses.

Prayer Focus

1. By the fire of the Holy Ghost, I roast all the demons in charge of any weakness in my life, in Jesus name.

2. Hammer of God, break the stronghold of (mention your weakness) in my life, in Jesus name.

3. Any friend in my circle of influence planted by the devil to nurture my weakness, be exposed and disgraced, in Jesus name.

4. My blood reject {mention the weakness(es)}, in Jesus name.

5. I will not lack sincere men and women who will further solidify my strength and help correct my weaknesses, in Jesus name.
