Bible Reading: Luke 11: 21-23, Nahum 3:1-6

Memory Verse: But if a stronger man comes and defeats him, he will carry off the weapons in which the strong man trusted. Then he will divide with others what he has taken. Luke 11:22 (CEV)

One of the greatest fight of destiny is the fight of enlargement of coast. In this Year of Manifestation of the sons and daughters of God, you will not remain small, in Jesus name. You will need to deal with some evil spirits and understand certain principles if you must move forward. A stagnant water stinks.

A stagnant water is distasteful. A stagnant water does not easily lathers. A stagnant water breeds insects and germs. A stagnant water is akwardly colourful. A stagnant water is generally unpleasant. All the aforementioned are similitude of a life that is not making progress; similitude of a life that is stagnant. 

What are the probable causes of stagnancy in the lives of a Christian?

1. The presence of a strongman: May you not offend a man or woman who has vowed not to forgive you, in Jesus name. A strongman is a ruler of a group of demons. A strongman is that evil personality that has vowed to hold on to a particular area of your life e.g. academics, career progress, fruitfulness, finance, etc. Then, he begins to bombard that single aspect of your life with myriad of problems causing stagnancy. What do you say of a particular student that had all A’s but just couldn’t pass Chemistry in High School? He teaches all his friends same and they pass. Such is the ministry of a strongman. Today, I break the hold of any strongman holding on to your health, finance, baby, and your next level, in Jesus name. Hear me: Your joy shall be full, in Jesus mighty name.

2. Environmental and Foundational wickedness: There are places where people don’t make progress because of the territorial powers at work. There are houses and buildings where no one ever climbs higher because of the evil sacrifices speaking in the foundation of such places, or the curses and evil covenants upon the land. Furthermore, you can’t build anything progressive on a faulty family foundation full of all manner of witchcraft activities. Ensure total and complete deliverance (Nahum 3:1-6).

Prophetic Decree: The Lord of host, who is stronger than any strong man shall overcome and spoil any strongman holding onto any department of your life, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Begin the plead the Blood of Jesus upon your life and family.

2. Repent and restitute your ways before the Lord.

3. Any foundational clog stagnating the wheel of my progress, I shake you off by fire, in Jesus name.

4. Sing the warfare song militantly: “Strongman, submit your power”.

5. Chains of family and environmental limitations around my life and destiny, I shake you off by fire, in Jesus name.
