Bible Reading: 2 Corinthians 10:4-6, Isaiah 61:1-3

Memory Verse: A joyful heart makes a face cheerful, but a sad heart produces a broken spirit. Proverbs 15:13 (CSB)

Shall we consider other diagnosis that negatively affect our total well-being?

2. DELUSION: This refers to self-deception. This happens when you are deceived in your own heart. When your wrong belief system is affecting your thinking. For example, there are people that believe that someone or something is always attacking them. Such people are EXCESSIVELY too conscious of the activities of witches and wizards. Some of such people have mental paranoid and consequently begin to misbehave. Such people could go on a very long fast until their immune system collapse.

There is a story of a lady in her late 30s’ who in her desperate quest for a life partner decided to do a 40-day dry fasting until she became insane in the process. You wreck your whole body system when you put an unnecessary load which God has not commanded upon yourself. Long fasting has its own unique methodology. Some others live persistently in fear of the witches and wizards of their father’s house and every night pray from 11pm – 5am. I believe in prophetic and judgmental prayers as the Spirit of God leads. It must not be done in fear (Phil.1:28). Why try to solve a problem and become a victim of another more serious health problem. Brethren we need wisdom this year 2021.

3. BROKEN HEART: Proverbs 15:13b says, “by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken”. Perhaps you have lost a spouse, lost a job, lost an opportunity or a property. Proverbs 17:22 says, “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.” Brethren, if you don’t want to dry up in Year 2021, please always put a smile on your face no matter the condition. The Bible says the joy of the Lord is my strength. There are others who look “super-spiritual” but are full of hurt inside because something is eating up their heart. Allow the ministration of the Holy Spirit to mend your broken heart. Peace!

1. Thank you Father for your love and grace.

2. In Year 2021, I refuse to be an enemy of myself, in Jesus name.

3. Holy Spirit of God, reprogram my mentality, in Jesus name.

4. Father Lord, please deliver me from the numerous lies I tell myself, in Jesus name.

5. My Father, please heal my broken heart, in Jesus name.
