Bible Reading: Psalm 74: 18-23

Memory VerseRemember your covenant promises, for the land is full of darkness and violence! Psalm74:20(NLT)

It takes a higher covenant to overturn an existing covenant. The greatest covenant ever made is the covenant in the Blood of Jesus. If your life must be different from that of your forefathers, you must subscribe to the covenant in the Blood of Jesus. Many people wonder why their lives have remained a carbon copy of that of their ancestors despite the fact that they are born again, Spirit-filled, tongue-speaking and working diligently for God. That answer may not be far-fetched.

There could be a hidden evil covenant and/or curse at work. Dara Bonica Institute spent decades studying the secret behind the immunity of the nation Israel. “Israel is my first born”. God made a covenant with the first born, the apple of His eyes that He will kill and slay any nation because of a covenant and it’s an everlasting covenant that He made. Similarly on the other side of the coin, when your grandfather was draining the blood of a goat near a fire many years ago, and making evil covenant with evil spirits, you were in his lions; you were in the loins of prophecy.

When your grandmother was looking for a male child at all cost and decided to meet the river goddess, she established an evil covenant with her until her fourth generation, you were in her loins and the verdict will continue to speak except otherwise overturned. When your forefather was desperate to cling to the royal title, he sold the destinies of generation yet unborn to the village idol, and you were in his loins. Now, you can see one of the reasons many people see themselves always in their village in their dreams.

When your grandmother became overtly jealous and refused to allow your grandfather marry another woman, then she married all her female children to an idol. You were in her loins. This is one of the mystery of stubborn spirit wives and husbands many people are dealing with. It is possible to be anointed, working in the miraculous yet, very poor if you don’t take care of these mysteries by the power in the Blood of Jesus, consciously and deliberately. A covenant is a system of verdict. A covenant is a system of authorization. Now that you are born again, arise and begin to break such evil covenants that has held your destiny down for many years one after the other. Today is the day of your deliverance. First, you must accept Jesus as your personal Lord and saviour.

Quote: If you are truly tired of your problems, your deliverance is by fire and by force – Matthew11:12
