Bible Reading: Psalm 63:1, Philippians 3:10

Memory Verse: All I want is to know Christ and to experience the power of his resurrection, to share in his sufferings and become like him in his death. Philippians 3:10 (GNT)

If there is anything you must pant for as a Christian everyday is to daily encounter God for yourself. Our God is without boundaries and without limits. One sign of a healthy Christian life is a heart that thirsts and longs more for God. David, who has always known God as as a teen shepherd boy still cried out, “O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water” Psalm 63:1 (NKJV). 

After several years of dealings, walking and several encounters with God, Apostle Paul still wrote, “That I may know Him…” (Philippians 3:10).  

When John the Beloved, who saw the Lord walking on the surface of the earth was privileged to have an encounter with Him in glory again while on the Island of Patmos. He fell down as though dead. “And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last.” Revelation 1:17 (NKJV)

When Moses encountered God in Mount Sinai, he literally lost appetite for food and rode in the strength of God’s glory for 40 full days (Exodus 34:28). 

From all the aforementioned, you may conclude that till a man dies, there will always be another version of God he is yet to know if only he will pay the price of pressing deeper.

In a situation where there are many “prophets” on the pulpit, park, offices, market, etc., you need a divine encounter. Reject any evil prophecy not consistent to the written word of God. Divine encounter makes you solid as a Christian. You will not be tossed around by every wind of doctrine or by every trend in the society. Stop moving or shaking like a reed beloved. Settle down to touch God for yourself. 

Quote: Only men of encounters receive definite patterns. And, only men of patterns ever shook their world for Christ

Prophetic Decree: Henceforth, you shall receive a deeper encounter with God, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. I receive unlimited grace to be one of the custodians of divine secrets, in Jesus name.

2. I break the power of spiritual laziness in my life, in Jesus name.

3. My soul press deeper into higher realms of heaven, in Jesus name.

4. Power for indefatigable prayer life, fall upon me in Jesus name.

5. I clear off every barrier in my spiritual wheel of progress, in Jesus name.
