Bible Reading: Acts 20: 33-34 Daniel 6: 3-4
Memory Verse: I have never coveted anyone’s silver or gold or fine clothes. Acts 20:33 (NLT)
If there is anything that has made one time best friends now openly sworn enemies is money. Don’t ever think you have financial integrity until you have been tested especially in the season when you are in dare need. Beloved, we all need grace. In one of his sermons, Apostle Arome Osayi said while he was working for the government, one day he was offered $20,000 bribe but he refused. He said very plainly that it was the prayers he had long prayed before then that was converted to grace to overcome such temptation. What about you? Hardly can we identify a Christian from an unbeliever. Infact, sometimes it is better to work with an unbeliever than some so called believers. It is not about the nomenclature but about our values.
The other time a pastor had to stop all the Church contracts awarded to members of his church because it was either they were poorly executed or totally abandoned. Brethren, where is your integrity? Why drag the name of the Lord in the mud? Why nail Christ again on the Cross because of what to eat and drink? God’s servant, Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche said, “Integrity is the twin of prosperity; holiness is the twin of wealth. It has been established that integrity is key to elevation in life. Examples abound in scripture of people who were lifted in life on the platform of integrity. Daniel was one man in scripture who upheld financial integrity and as a result, he was lifted (Daniel 6:3-4). This was the secret of Daniel’s lifting.
Please note this: Integrity does not demote a person; rather, it promotes a person. Uprightness does not decrease; rather, it increases. Integrity is the twin of prosperity; holiness is the twin of wealth. All the people who were lifted by God and empowered financially were people that had character uprightness.” Beloved, refuse to be destroyed by covetousness. True blessings come from God as such, you won’t soil your hands. Integrity determines destiny, both in this world and in the world to come. Your character determines your future with God, both in this world and in the world to come.
Quote: Look for three things in a person: Intelligence, Energy, & Integrity. If they don’t have the last one, don’t even bother with the first two – Warren Buffett
Prophetic Decree: Like Daniel, by the power of integrity, rise above those opposing you, in Jesus name.
