Bible Reading: Gen. 39:1-12

Memory Verse: My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not. Proverbs 1:10

A young man in his late teens was working for a very influential person in the society. All
asset and properties apart from his wife was put under the care of this young chap.
However, the wife of this man saw this chap as a tool to satisfy her illicit sexual pleasure.
She made several advances to him which he always turned down. One day, she carefully
sent all her maids out while he invited him into the inner chambers. Costly scented
perfume filled the air as she adorned herself in a seductive dress showing all… The young
man sensing danger fled leaving behind his cloth which the woman forcefully grasped
from him as he ran away. The Holy Spirit is promoting me to ask you a very sincere
question today
I. If you happen to be this young man, do you think you have the moral courage and
spiritual stamina to wave off this temptation?
II. What is the price for your soul?
It is easy to laugh when people fall into sexual sin forgetting that it could have been you.
Sister, have you not fallen flat to the sexual pranks and gimmicks of that young man
when he came with a Range Rover Sport. Suddenly without further confirmation you
said assuredly “He is the one”. Woe befalls a man who speaks when God have not
spoken. Are you sure the price of having you on bed for few minutes is not a fast food
treat of less than 5,000Naira (15 dollars). Take heed to yourself.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Numbers 1 – 2
Quote: What is the price for your soul?
Prophetic Decree: The price paid by the blood shed by Jesus on the Cross of Calvary
shall not be wasted over your soul in Jesus name.
Prayer Focus:

  1. Thank you Lord for your Word of self-examination today.
  2. I receive grace to overcome all temptations the devil will be bringing my way in Jesus
    name.
  3. Deliver from sexual sins O Lord in Jesus name.
  4. I prophesy unto you O my soul; you shall not be bought over by the treasures of this
    world in Jesus name.
  5. Father have mercy on me, deliver me from every sinful relationship.
