Bible Reading: Mark 11:11-24
Memory Verse: Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe
that you receive them, and you will have them. Mark 11:24 (NKJV)
The stories in the Bible contain the principles of the kingdom used to produce kingdom
results. Don’t just know the stories but understand the kingdom principles they teach.
These Bible stories convey the principles of the kingdom to help us live victoriously.
Religion delights in the great stories of the Bible but cannot go further.
Bible stories contain principles needed to succeed in life and in eternity. There will
always be a Bible story with principles to help you handle whatever situation you face in
life. The principles of the kingdom that you master and apply will determine whether
your life will be a success story or not. Every time you listen to a sermon based on a Bible
story, pay attention to uncover the principles embedded therein. Some principles will be
warnings while others would be applied.
Some stories in the Bible even though different, follow the same principles. For example,
the principle used in the story of Jesus speaking to the fig tree is the same principle He
used when He was casting out a demon i.e. “YOU SHALL HAVE WHAT YOU SAY.”
Principles don’t change but stories and circumstances will change. Whenever you come
across Bible stories in your personal Bible study or in church, always get the underlying
kingdom principle and adjust your life accordingly.
