Chidinma Ekile is the eclectic singer who warmed herself into the hearts of millions of Nigerians after winning the third season of the erstwhile reality TV show, MTN Project Fame West Africa, in 2010. She instantly wrote her name in gold, setting a new record as the first female singer to win the music competition. She won the “Best Female West African Act” at 2012 Kora Awards. The soulful singer also won “Best Pop Extra Video” at 2013 Nigerian Music Video Awards with other multiple nominations. With the release of her video “Emini Baller” she became the first female musician to peak at number 1 on the MTV Base Official Naija Top 10 chart.
Goodnews: Today she is saved. She had an encounter with Jesus and her life was transformed. She expressed regrets for wasting so much time doing secular music. She said the “the devil has been winning too long.” She vows never to return to secular music. Chidinma now refers to herself as Mummy GO and an end-time soldier. Today, she uses her music talents only to the glory of her heavenly Father. She said, “He (God) is very mindful of me. I’m not here because I want fame. I’ve had all of that and I think I’ve had enough of all of that. Jesus is coming soon, sooner than you expect. So we cannot allow them to miss out on that. Now is the time to do the work”. Chindima is currently signed on with the Eezee concept and her debut single, “Jehovah Overdo” garnered over 19 million views on YouTube. Now you can see why the devil wanted to divert her destiny.
Charge: Perhaps you have a musical talent or you’re an artist, please learn from this testimony of a young woman who has seen it all in the secular world – the fame, the fans, the guys, and of course, the money. Today, she has said “vanity upon vanity, all is vanity”. There is nothing outside Jesus, believe me dear friend. Jesus gave you that talent. Wouldn’t you rather use it ONLY to His glory? Chidinma, may the Lord keep you standing till the end, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus
1. Thank you Saviour for graciously giving me my talent.
2. I repent of any way I have used my talent for self aggrandizement, in Jesus name.
3. Powers contending for the Lordship of Jesus over my life, die, in Jesus name.
4. Holy Spirit, help me to consecrate my life and talent only for You, in Jesus name.
5. I refuse to be lured away by worldly promoters and directors who only want to profit from my talents but are not concerned about the salvation of my soul, in Jesus name
6. Money, fame, properties, international exposure, etc, shall not separate me from the love of my Father.
