Memory Verse: Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6

3. Deliverance Prayers: The spiritual controls the physical. The evil spirit in charge of illicit drug must be sent packing if a particular individual or nation must be free.

4. Orientation in Schools: The Guardian and Counselling departments of schools have a lot to do. They could invite self-confessed drug addicts to educate their students against the after-effects of drugs from their personal experiences.

5. Government: Kofi Annan, Former United Nations Head, via CNN once said, “War On Drugs Is A Global Failure. But today, we know what works and what does not. It is time for a smarter approach to drug policy. Putting people’s health and safety first is an imperative, not an afterthought.” Bodies like NDLEA (National Drug Law Enforcement Agency), the governmental body in charge of should be restructured, re-equipped and empowered. Drug plantations should be detected and razed down.

Quote:

“The mentality and behavior of drug addicts and alcoholics is wholly irrational until you understand that they are completely powerless over their addiction and unless they have structured help, they have no hope” — Russell Brand

Prophetic Word: Drugs shall not have dominion over you, in Jesus name.
