Bible Reading: Exodus 3: 14, 17, 19-20
Memory Verse: But I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go unless a mighty hand compels him. So I will stretch out my hand and strike the Egyptians with all the wonders that I will perform among them. After that, he will let you go. Exodus 3:19-20 (NIV)
Pharaoh is that title given the king and religious leader in ancient Egypt. The word “Pharaoh” comes from the Egyptian phrase ‘per-aa’, which means “great house”. Today in the Christendom, Pharoah has become a metaphor of anyone saying, “‘I am god’ over your life and over your destiny,” ‘I have a measure of spiritual authority over your life, and I can do and undo’, ‘I made you, and I can ruin you.'” When a Pharaoh is at work in any department of your life, you need the ‘I AM THAT I AM, the Lord of host to fight for you. This is why I love the song: “I am that I am; I am that I am. Go and tell Pharaoh that I am that I am.”
A spiritual Pharaoh could be in your family, in your market place, in your office, on your street, in your community, amongst your friends, or, sadly, even right in the Church! This is quite unfortunate. A family Pharaoh doesn’t mind if every other person in the bloodline – born and unborn – suffer because of his own wicked doings. The 10 plagues of Egypt was strategically planned by God to dislodge and shame all the gods of Egypt that Pharaoh relied upon. One after the other, God used Moses to disgrace their powers. A Pharaoh that has sat upon your destiny for several years, or several generations will not easily let go.
There are several binding curses and evil covenant, demonic yokes, evil connectivity, evil flows, demonic rivers, forest powers, and demonic institutions that must be pull down. If you’re the first in your lineage to challenge such Pharaoh then, be ready for a fierce battle; be ready for a bloody fight! They won’t watch you challenge status quo without a great contention. Be ready for the ministry of spiritual conflict. Then, the scriptures shall be fulfilled, “Those from among you Shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.” Isaiah 58:12 (NKJV).
Until the last plague involving the death of all the first born of Egypt, Pharaoh didn’t release the Israelites. Similarly, until some people, powers, or principalities collide with the angel of death, your deliverance is not in view. Haven’t you heard that through the greatness of thy power shall thy enemies submit unto him (Psalm 66:3). Is it not written: “I will feed your enemies with their own flesh. They will be drunk with rivers of their own blood. All the world will know that I, the LORD, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Israel.” Isaiah 49:26 (NLT). Haven’t you heard: “Whoever digs a pit will fall into it, And he who rolls a stone will have it roll back on him.” Proverbs 26:27 (NKJV); and 2 Thessalonians 1:6 (KJV) says, “Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you.”
Friends, some enemies will never repent no matter your intercession. They have covenanted their soul to the devil to do only his will. Kill them before they ruin your destiny! Selah
Quote: Until the I AM comes into the battle, there is no end to perennial oppression.
