Bible Reading: Isaiah 11: 1-9

Memory Verse: Wisdom is supreme. Get wisdom. Yes, though it costs all your possessions, get understanding. Proverbs 4:7 (NHEB)

Soak these words patiently into your spirit and let the Holy Spirit minister wisdom into your heart for this year 2021.

1. On gratitude: It’s a funny thing about life, once you begin to take note of the things you are grateful for, you begin to lose sight of the things that you lack – Germany Kent

2. On nation building: Ordinary citizens of a great nation will forever be treated better than successful citizens of a failed nation – Fela Durotoye.

3. On death to self: The reason why many are still troubled, still seeking, still making little forward progress is because they haven’t yet come to the end of themselves. We’re still trying to give orders, and interfering with God’s work within us – A.W. Tozer.

Prayer Focus

1. The God of All-wisdom, I celebrate Your splendor and glory.

2. Ever Faithful God, please give me wisdom to reign in life, in Jesus name.

3. I receive the wisdom of Solomon and the courage of Samson to sail through this New Year.

4. Hitherto I have fallen, I shall mount up like Eagles, in Jesus name.

5. By the force of wisdom,I silence the accuser of brethren and his cohorts this year, in Jesus name.
