Bible Reading: Mark 5: 24-34, Psalm 119:130

Memory Verse: Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. Mark 11:24 (NKJV)

As a teenager, late Kenneth E. Hagin became bedfast. Medical science said he would die. Now, he’d heard the New Birth preached all his life. He knew what God’s will was concerning salvation. And when he came to the Lord while bedfast, he had no doubt that He would hear him. He had no lack of understanding along that line. Therefore, he had no doubt concerning salvation. He had received salvation, he knew that he was saved. But, he was still bedfast! He certainly had a lack of understanding of God’s Word concerning divine healing, prayer, and faith.

All he had ever heard preachers say about healing was, “Just leave it to the Lord. He knows best.” (Yes, but in His Word, God has made provision for us to have His best!). In time, after much PERSONAL study of the Bible, he saw the exact steps he needed to take in prayer, and he saw just how to release his faith. Had he known these things earlier, he could have been off his sick bed several months earlier. The trouble wasn’t with God, the trouble was with the receiving end. As soon as he found out what God’s Word said about healing and acted upon it, he got results! As soon as light comes, there comes faith.

Similarly, a great man of God who coveted the gift of healing went to the Lord in prayer. “O Lord, heal me”, he prayed. God gave him a simple instruction: Search for healing scriptures from Genesis to Revelation, write it out, meditate and confess them to yourself. The healing anointing did not only fall upon his life and ministry, he was also healed of all his infirmities. Today, I want you to go back again into the Word of God personally. Everything you need – healing, deliverance, liberation, etc, is wrapped up in the Word. As you build your personal faith in the Lord by reading, meditating and confessing relevant scriptures, your healing is guaranteed.

Prayer Focus

1. Jehovah Rapha, the Lord my healer, I worship Your majesty.

2. Demons of affliction in my body, pack your load, in Jesus name.

3. I cast out every deaf and dumb spirit in my life, in Jesus name.

4. I command a divine restoration of any organ of my body that has been stolen, in Jesus name.

5. Blood of Jesus purge my spirit, cleanse my soul, and wash my body, in Jesus name.
