HINDRANCES TO NATIONAL TRANSFORMATION (2)

HINDRANCES TO NATIONAL TRANSFORMATION (2)

DWOJ Daily Words of Jesus Devotional Post December

Sunday, 4th December, 2016.

Bible reading:   Matthew 5: 14, 16, 45

Memory Verse: Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world. Philippians 2:14-15.

 3) Wrong attitude to work

Perhaps, except in the private sector, many people who have been privileged to get job are not willing to work. Bad attitude to work and stealing are business killers. Stealing or tolerating the stealing of work time by some employees is the order of the day, especially in the public service sector.

Students, this habit of refusal to complete your notes and do all necessary school assignment will soon translate to refusal to meet up important engagement at work in the process of time. Remember habits are formed via our day to day routine. Change that attitude.

4) Lack of Patriotism

Lack of patriotism is one of the greatest hindrances to national transformation.

Regrettably, most people don’t put their country first. What has happened to the spirit of love, tolerance and care for one another? Must you be rewarded for every service rendered? Government properties are your own properties. Use them judiciously. Be a patriotic citizen.

Action Word:  The greatest act of patriotism is to pray for your country everyday and serve your fatherland faithfully in any capacity you find yourself.

Prayer points:

  1. Holy Spirit, work in me a patriotic heart, in the name of Jesus.
  2. Every spirit of rebellion in my life, die, in the name of Jesus.
