Bible Reading: Ephesians 6: 10

Memory Verse:  In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might. Ephesians 6:10 (AMP)

Daddy Niyi Adebayo once shared what it means to give once life to Christ. In July, 1992, I had struggled for exactly one year after my secondary school education. I was later introduced to a school by two friends who both came to call me at home. I was still like a social outcast: My father kicked me out of the house for becoming an ‘S.U.’ That was the way they referred to those who got born again in our village back then. “The world cries for men who are strong, strong in conviction, strong to lead, to stand, to suffer” –  Elisabeth Elliot.

I did all manner of tough jobs to make a living: working as a labourer on people’s farms, hawking soft drinks and cold water at motor packs, climbing and plucking mangoes for some women and following truck loaded with mangoes to Lagos, tapping sand inside tippers and all that. When the suffering became unbearable, I chose to take a break and see what God wanted to do with my life. I barely could feed! Couldn’t change wears. I would use towel to rinse my shirt and trouser so they could be ready for the next fellowship or village outreach! The only way to learn strong faith is to endure great trials – George Muller.

What price are you willing to pay for your faith? What happened to you and made you turn your back on the Lord? Many are in a backsliding state. They are no longer fervent in the faith. They no longer have their daily quiet time. They are now customers to mushroom prayer houses looking for a prophet to speak into their lives. They don’t attend weekly services. They have lost touch with Jesus, their first love. Who art bewitched you, dear soldier of God. Your life is suddenly now centred around money. What shall it profit a man to gain the whole world but lose his own soul? Nothing must separate you from the love of your Master.

QuoteLet your life reflect the faith you have in God. Fear nothing and pray about everything. Be strong, trust God’s word, and trust the process – Germany Kent.

Prophetic Decree: Faith killers, die, in Jesus name.

2. My faith shall not grow weary, but stronger, in Jesus name.

3. Storms assigned to break me, shall turn around to make me stronger, in Jesus name.

5. Persecution, famine, drought, poverty, sickness, etc, shall not separate me from the love of the Lord, in Jesus name.
