Bible Reading:  Romans 12:1-2

Memory Verse:  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Romans 12:1

I want to ask you a very sincere question. Do you really want to be free from the yoke of illicit sex that has destroyed many destinies? Then, you need to arm yourself with some basic mindset and resolution.

1.      Carefully select your friends: FRIENDSHIP IS NOT BY FORCE. You cannot rule out the strong effect of peer pressure amongst children, teens and youths. Your friends must definitely influence you, positively and or negatively. They must definitely rub off on you. If you have a friend that smokes, you will soon start smoking. If you have a friend that loves girls, you will soon start womanizing to your own detriment. The old adage is ever relevant: Show me your friend and I will tell you who you are.

2.      Break away from electronic addiction:  Successful men carefully choose their habit. Social media has done more harm than good to most young individuals. By a single click, you can connect to You Tube and watch the latest sex video. As I write, there is a social app dedicated to all manner of lewd sexual acts. Say “No” to such! If you will continue to watch home videos, you may never be free from illicit sex. There must be one scene or another showing a man sleeping with a woman. The devil will always arouse your sexual appetite with such that he may keep you continually in bondage.

3.      Prayer: Do you have uncontrollable sexual urge or sexual flash backs? Are you a gay or lesbian? As masturbation stuck on you? Or, you prefer sleeping only with animals. All these are spiritual manipulations with a bid to destroy you. Go for deliverance.

Prophetic Decree:  I release unto you the grace to rule your mind, in Jesus name.   

Prayer Focus:

1. Father please forgive me of various unholy actions I have undertaken to satisfy the cravings of my body, in Jesus name.
2. Lord, empower my inner man to say no to evil sexual advances always steering at me, in Jesus name.
3. I break the yoke of every lust of the flesh in my heart, in Jesus name.
4. I cast out every foundational spirit of lust and sexual immorality, in Jesus name.
5. Any evil covenant and curse holding me captive to sexual sins, be broken by the Blood of Jesus.
