Bible Reading: Luke 9: 23-24, Hebrews 10:25

David Jeremiah said, “When you follow God’s will for your life, you can see how yesterday’s events prepared you for today’s challenges and tomorrow’s opportunities.” Other ways you can uncover God’s will for your life include:

6.Discipleship: Most modern day believers don’t understand the meaning of discipleship. You will need a discipler if you must grow fast in God. They make your Bible understanding easier, hence you can trap the will of God. Your relationship with a good discipler will also preserve you in God’s will and deliver you from making costly mistakes.

7.Kill every work of the flesh: Unforgiveness, bitterness, anger, offence, masturbation, pornography, etc, will block the pathway to the release of your spirit. Your spiritual receptacles become dull (unsharpened). That’s what sin does. It may even block the heavens over your life. James 5:16a (AMP), “Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored.”

8.Despise not the fellowship of the brethren: You can’t be born again and don’t go to Church. Those living especially in the First World Countries should take note. There is nothing bad participating in an online church, but don’t make that a perpetual habit. Whether you are close to your home branch or not, try to locate a local church where the undiluted word of God and fervent prayer is preached. It will save you one day. Sometimes as your Pastor speaks, a divine illumination lit in your spirit. What happens when you are not in church on that day? Don’t despise collective anointing. “Some people have given up the habit of meeting for worship, but we must not do that. We should keep on encouraging each other, especially since you know that the day of the Lord’s coming is getting closer.” Hebrews 10:25 (CEV). One thing I have discovered: Until you honour the prophet God has sent to you in the new state or country you reside, you may not eat from the abundance of the land, hence the will of God for you may not be uncovered.

Prophetic Decree:  Let the right hand of the Lord compel you mercifully in the will of the Father, in Jesus name. 

Prayer Focus 

1. Thank you Father because I shall walk in your perfect will for my life this Year 2024.
2. I receive grace to be discipled, in Jesus name.
3. O Lord, kill every work of the flesh in my life, in Jesus name.
4. O Lord, please lead me to a Church that will harness your will for my life, in Jesus name.
5. I come against powers working day and night to truncate, delay or destroy God’s perfect will for my life, in Jesus name.
