Bible Reading: Galatians 5:16, 19-21, 24

Memory Verse: But I say, walk habitually in the [Holy] Spirit [seek Him and be responsive to His guidance], and then you will certainly not carry out the desire of the sinful nature [which responds impulsively without regard for God and His precepts]. Galatians 5:16 (AMP)

There is an ancient tactics by which the devil has wasted many a destiny. Do you know? Many times, the devil deploys us against our own destiny. This a sad truth. But how, you may ask? It’s simple. By provoking the works of the flesh in our lives.

Practical Examples

  1. Your boss in the office, your Parent at home, or your pastor in Church gave you some specific instructions. You blatantly disobeyed without caution. Now your boss gave you a query, your parent or husband got annoyed and spoke in anger. That may be the beginning of your closed doors and closed heavens. Little things matter beloved especially for those under God’s covenant. Never disregard parental, governmental and spiritual authorities. They are the custodians of divine heritages. Despise them and suffer the consequences. Hear me beloved: There are people you handle with caution whether they are right or wrong. Honour the virtues even when the vessel is wrong. Wisdom speaks.

2. A client has been patronizing your goods and services. Suddenly, he no more patronizes you. Did you call back to know why? Or, in your arrogance, you decided to call off his bluff. Don’t you think the devil is trying to close hitherto open doors? Sometimes in that same season other clients also turned their back on your business. Don’t be insensitive. Yes, I agree Satan is at work. Deal with that devil, but don’t cooperate with him with your arrogance and pride. Hear me: There are destiny partners in business and ministry you must guard jealously. Else, such a project/business may be hindered. Please don’t get me wrong. I am not talking about human worship. However, you must satisfactorily play your own part before God in all humility and wisdom. Give no room for anger, unforgiveness, quarrel, bitterness and other works of the flesh. I hope this is well taken?

Quote:  A dead man cannot be provoked. Are you dead to the works of the flesh in your life?

Prophetic Decree: The devil shall not hire you against your own destiny, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. I curse any power magnifying my mistakes in the sight of my destiny helpers, in Jesus name.

2. I receive humility to manage my destiny contacts, in Jesus name.

3. Foundational point of provocation in my life, dry up, in Jesus name.

4. Holy Spirit please deal with anger in me before the devil use it against my open doors.

5. Holy Spirit please stripe me off my pride and arrogance, in Jesus name.

6. I receive grace to follow the commands of my destiny even if it hurts my flesh, in Jesus name.
