HOW TO READ AND PASS YOUR EXAMS (2)

Bible Reading: Daniel 9: 1-3

Memory Verse: When you come, bring the cloak that I left with Carpus at Troas, also the
books, and above all the parchments. 2 Timothy 4:13 (ESV)

Without examination, promotion is not guaranteed. Never should you be afraid of
writing examination. They are meant to prepare you for the next level. Let us continue
in our study of how to conquer examination.

  1. Cram with understanding: If you must cram, you need to get a general
    understanding of the subject matter before doing so.
  2. Be punctual and attentive: First, you could earn yourself some marks for
    attendance. Also, it enables you to know the area of concentration (AOC) of your
    teachers /lecturers.
  3. Copy your notes: Learn to document personally.
  4. Practice strategic group reading and discussion.
  5. Have a reading partner who challenges you: Two is better than one (Eccl 4:9-12).
  6. Attend tutorials/special lessons: Especially in your weak subjects (2 Cor. 12: 9).
  7. Prayer and fasting: Dedicate at least one day every week to pray and fast for your
    academics and for your future. Pray for quick understanding,sharp retentive
    memory, angelic assistance, Divine favour and reject memory failure. “Pray as if you
    never read and read as if you never prayed”.
  8. Prophetic offering and sacrifice: Learn to sow prophetic seeds into the life of your
    Man of God. It generates grace.
    Let us round off with the words of Thomas A. Edison, “Genius is one percent inspiration
    and ninety-nine percent perspiration”. Success is sweet but the secret is sweat
    (dedicated hardwork).
    BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Numbers 11-13
    Quote: Success is a cure for shame and reproach. No price is too great to pay for good
    success.
    Prophetic Decree: The last time you failed shall be the last time you will ever fail in
    Jesus name.
    Prayer Focus:
  9. Thank you Father for your Word of good success.
  10. Father frustrates the wickedness of the wicked over my education, in Jesus name.
  11. Angels of the living God restore a new brain unto me in Jesus name.

  13. Whether the devil likes it or not, I will not fail in the name of Jesus.
