Bible Reading: 2 Kings 22: 1-4, 23: 1-5

Memory Verse: And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, and walked in all
the way of David his father, and turned not aside to the right hand or to the left. 2 Kings 22:2

Then you step into a shoe that is bigger than you, you must quickly learn how to wear it.
Sometimes, destiny confers on you some great privileges very early in life which you do
not have the mental capacity and spiritual acumen to manage. There is a maturity that
comes only as you advance in age. Do not ever forget this. In life, irrespective of what
you have become, you must know when to stand, sit, squat or knee, as the situation
demands. These four positions are very symbolic. Every true warrior knows when to
retreat to avert sudden defeat.
Josiah became the youngest recorded king of Judah when he was only eight years old.
He was the heir to the throne after the death of his father, Amon who is most
remembered for his idolatrous practices during his reign. This led to a revolt and
eventually his assassination. Josiah changed the order. Dearly beloved, you can choose
to rewrite your negative family history.
Josiah was a wise child who followed the Lord Almighty unlike king Rehoboam who
followed the negative counsel of his friends and was misled and destroyed (1 Kings
12:8). Friend, who is advising you? A blind man cannot lead another blind man.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Leviticus 16 – 18
Quote: Mentors are God sent who provide one with wisdom.
Prophetic Decree: The Lord shall establish you on the path of wisdom in Jesus name.

  3. I reject every Jeroboam –like spirit in my life, in Jesus name.
  4. My destiny attract Jonathan like friends to my David, in Jesus name.
  5. I shall rewrite my family history in Jesus name.
