Bible Reading: Luke 2: 1-7

Memory Verse:  For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8b (NKJV)

There are many lessons surrounding the birth of Jesus. First, Jesus was born out of prophecy. Prophet Isaiah prophesied about Him 600 years before He was born. That is why I am prophesying upon your life that every prophecy hovering over your life shall manifest before the end of this year, in Jesus name. Infact, God had to move the government of that time to declare a census so as to move Jesus into Bethlehem,  the land of prophecy. Certain things can only happen in certain places. This is the mystery of divine location. Your divine location determines your divine allocation. Our God is a God of order and precision. Mind you, prior to the fulfillment of the prophecy of the birth of Jesus, an old man called Simeon, and an old woman called Anna had to devout their lives to intercession day and night at the temple (Luke 2:25-38). Who are your spiritual parents who daily stand in the gap for the manifestation of the prophecies written concerning you before the foundation of the earth?

Secondly, Jesus was born in a very humble place. Can you imagine a long awaited king of the Jews born in a manger? That’s ridiculous to say the least. But that’s the way of God. Great things are often hidden in mystery. Learn from this. There is a season for your manifestation. Don’t announce yourself before you arrive at the stage of destiny, else you personally attract killer enemies.

Thirdly, Jesus did not die before his destiny was fulfilled. Hence, you will not die prematurely. Premature death is not about age. A man could die at 95, but didn’t fulfill his destiny. While Jesus died at 33, he fulfilled purpose. Many were born, but few truly lived.

Quote: Celebrating a Jesus you do not know is like happily going to a place you do not have its address.

Prophetic Decree: The birth and life of Jesus shall not be in vain over your life, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Jesus Christ of Nazareth, please encounter my life afresh today.

2. Prophecies hanging over my head shall hastily come to fulfillment, in Jesus name.

3. The spirit of Herod that kills great things at infancy shall not swallow my destiny dreams, vision, and life purpose, in Jesus name.

4. Henceforth, I shall not journey through life carelessly, in Jesus name.

5. Premature death, my life is not your candidate, in Jesus name.

6. Powers that kill great destiny at infancy shall not kill my children’s destiny, in Jesus name.

SEEING BEYOND THE SURFACE

Many pay attention to what is happening rather than what is going on. One of the greatest challenges in life and destiny is the temptation to focus only on what is happening i.e. the immediate, visible, noisy events around us while failing to discern what is really going on...

WHEN THERE’S A WILL, THERE’S A WAY

A man broke the internet as he explained the step-by-step process of how he gained admission into the University after he couldn’t continue his education from JSS3. He said: From JSS3 straight to the University. After JSS3, I couldn’t further my education due to certain issues...
