LEVELS OF SPIRITUAL POWER (1)

LEVELS OF SPIRITUAL POWER (1)

DWOJ Daily Words of Jesus Devotional Post February

Bible Reading: Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 14: 2, 14, 18

Memory Verse: I ask that out of the riches of His glory He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being. Ephesians 5:16 (BSB)

There are four levels in the spirit and everyone belongs to one of these power levels. It is left for you to decide which of the levels you desire:

1. Delegated spiritual authority: This power is not resident in the operator. It is just delegated. This power belongs to another person, and it is usually given, because of association with the owner of such power. A policeman is respected not because of his age or face, but because of the uniform given to him by the government. Similarly, every believer at the point of salvation has a measure of the power of God residing in him at the point of salvation (Luke 10:19). There is a difference between authority and power. The day you backslide, just like the policeman who put down his uniform because he was retired, that authority will be taken away from you. A vast majority of believers operate on this level. There is a need to move forward.

2. The power of the Holy Spirit: This is the second level of power. When you get baptized in the Holy Ghost, you have something higher than the delegated authority. DO NOT BE A CHRISTIAN WHO IS SATISFIED WITHOUT BEING FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST WITH THE EVIDENCE OF SPEAKING IN TONGUES. You speak mysteries which cannot be understood by Satan when you speak in tongues. It is a heavenly language (1 Cor. 14: 2,18). Charge up your spiritual batteries by speaking in the Holy Ghost for nothing less than one hour every day in your bathroom, in the car, and anywhere. There was an armed robbery attack on the highway. The robbers soon began to move from one car to another. As soon as the robbers got to the car where all these Christians were, they bursted into tongues. These robbers became confused and left them alone. What happened? There was a spiritual reconfiguration; the atmosphere became charged because mysterious words have been programmed into the air. The first level of power is not enough to handle African household witchcraft, let alone ancestral power. Friend, it is time to go deeper.

We shall continue from here tomorrow…

Quote: More power, more exploits.

Prophetic Decree: Henceforth, you shall trouble your troubles, in Jesus name.
